This workshop facilitated by Jimmi Langemo
The great spiritual teachers of the world laid the framework for people to celebrate diversity, establish equity, and create an inclusive environment. But in today’s fast-paced, stressful and polarized world, the idea of cultivating a spiritual practice gets lost. In these sessions, participants will use the teachings of the world’s great spiritual teachers to overcome their conditioned biases, create a vision for the kind of inclusive leader they wish to be, and apply practical skills that help them make a difference in people’s lives.
There are four offerings to choose from:
- Memphis Spiritual Pilgrimage: Take a three-day pilgrimage to Memphis, Tennessee. Using the transformative power of history and place that is Memphis, this pilgrimage strengthens your faith and equips you to welcome diversity, build equity, and create inclusive environments at home, work and your place of worship. The programs are open to individuals or can be tailored for groups and organizations.
- Classes: Jimmi teaches spiritual classes on a variety of topics, including but not limited to, facing and overcoming your conditioned biases, practicing mindful listening, how to enter into a DEI conversation, and defining your legacy as an inclusive leader.
- Keynotes or speaking engagements: Jimmi outlines his spiritual approach to being an inclusive leader by sharing stories of his journey, describing his faith, teaching basic skills, and sharing best practices.
- Services: Jimmi can design and officiate special services for your place of worship.
