Liberty Gonzalez, M.A. (They/Them) is a Genderqueer Pagan Jew of British, Germanic, Slavic, and Nordic descent. They began their journey with StirFry Seminars & Consulting in 2017, completing the Mindful Facilitator Certification Program in 2020. Since then, they have taken on the role of Online Event Support Team Coordinator (aka the Spaceship Operator), ensuring that online trainings run seamlessly. In addition to solutions for online events, Liberty’s team also supports StirFry with creative services like graphic design, and video editing.

Liberty is also the founder of Awakening Creatives LLC, where they provide comprehensive support to socially engaged changemakers, including  visionary leadership, activists, artists, and cultural healers. Their services emphasize fostering liberatory and transformative change while nurturing creative flourishing, fostering connection and belonging, and preventing burnout within values-led organizations. Awakening Creatives collaborates with organizations on queer sensitivity training, leadership coaching, strategic consulting, organizational development, DEI copy editing, facilitation and education applying mindful facilitation principles.

Originally from Portland, Oregon, the lands of the Multnomah and Chinook peoples, Liberty now resides in St. Louis, Missouri, home of the Osage peoples, with their partner and child. They enjoy hiking with their dogs and singing with their partner in their music project, Medicine Web.
