Michael Eatman is a Certified Diversity Professional and Founder of Culture7Coaching. His work focuses on building leadership capacity and organizational culture to develop more just and inclusive workplaces.
As an Inclusion Strategist and graduate of StirFry’s training program, Michael utilizes Mindful Facilitation techniques to help leaders and organizations navigate difficult conversations around issues of difference, emphasizing compassionate engagement. Michael’s passion for dialogue has matured over the past two decades as he has worked in K-20 learning environments.
Michael first learned of Mun Wah’s work while serving as a volunteer at the White Privilege Conference: He observed moments of inspiration as Mun Wah genuinely engaged audiences and shared practical tools to combat painful race interactions with courage and curiosity.
Over the next 10 years, Michael participated in weekend trainings at The Berkeley Training Center that explored healing from racial conflict. These life-changing experiences led to his participation and completion of StirFry’s Mindful Facilitation Certification Program and Internship. Learning under the tremendous mentorship of Rainbow Markell and Mun Wah, Michael is honored to serve as a facilitator for StirFry, as they train and empower others to evolve into their best selves as they work for justice and equity.
